Technical Execution: Distraction

My next design is called 'Distraction'. Which tries to portray how a phone call can disrupt the person who is driving thus leading to disaster.

This is the initial sketch

What I did first was to connect all the lines so that it would be easier for me to use the wand tool.

Then with the wand tool I selected large areas of the drawing and filled them with paint bucket

Next I chose a sky background and put it into the drawing.

Then I adjusted the layer arrangements and the sky's blending options.

After that was done, I used the lasso tool to select a portion of the fingertip.

Then using the paint bucket, burn and smudge tools, I created a bleeding effect on all the fingers.

Next I noticed some words at the top of the sky background so using the clone stamp tool I got rid of it.

So after all that it looked something like this.

Next I started working on the eye's pupil, I layered it with cut

Then blending options once again I used colour overlay to create my own shade.

Then I layered the ear

And applied blending options such as bevel and emboss and stroke.

And did the same for the hand.

Next I chose a sandy layer and placed it on the art piece.

And adjusted the arrangement of the layers and opacity of the layer as I saw fit.

Next I used the filter gallery to select a texture for the sky.

I used a texture known as 'Fresco'

And made this.

And the final design is this.
